Cayenne Pepper Salve

Have you ever found that your eyes were on fire from rubbing your face after cutting chilli peppers? As unfortunate as that may have been, it is the very reason we chose Cayenne pepper as the star ingredient for this salve. It contains the active compound called ‘capsaicin’ which is well known for its pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties and to improve circulation. It can be used for sore and inflamed joints and muscle, nerve pain (including neuralgia), rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, sprains, strains and bruising, as well as rubbing it on limbs that suffer from lessened blood circulation and/or oedema.  
Directions for use: Use topically, up to 4x daily on the affected area. Use sparingly, applying it directly onto the affected area. For acute conditions: use it as a poultice style wrap, with a cloth barrier between the salve and the skin; this can be kept on for as long as it can be tolerated. (Prolonged use may cause a temporary skin sensitivity, but using the cloth barrier should deter skin irritation. If/when skin irritation occurs, abstain from use until the skin has recovered and then reapply for a shorter period and less frequently than before.) 
Caution: Use a glove to apply the salve and wash hands thoroughly afterward, as whatever you touch will also burn especially sensitive parts like eyes etc.
